Filled with Glory

When He tells us to move, we need to move. When He tells us to be still, then we need to be still. The pattern of His movement in our own lives may also be unpredictable. We too need to trust Him & know that if He hasn’t moved yet, it is because He wants us where we are. Also, if He moves too quickly or takes us somewhere that we do not want to go, He is Lord. Whether we know it or not, we want to be wherever He takes us because that is where His Presence dwells. Being in His will is the most comforting & safe place to be.

Dress the Part

What does your uniform demonstrate to the world? Does it distinguish you from others? When they look at you, do they know who you work for? Can others look at you & read “Holy to the Lord”? Do your ministry bells ring? Do you seek His perfect revelation through the Holy Spirit? Does everyone know that you are a Christ Follower – Christian?

Beautiful & Costly

Can you picture what the Holy Place & the Most Holy Place could have looked like? This was a beautiful & costly place! It was God’s dwelling place, HIS HOLY HOUSE. It had to be beautiful, because He is beautiful. It had to be costly, because His value is beyond measure. To be in His Presence is more valuable than any created thing! When the priests walked into that room, they were supposed to see God in their minds eye: His BEAUTY; His WORTH; His LIGHT; His SACRIFICE; His GLORY. After-all, it was His house & they were in His Presence!

Where God’s Spirit Dwells

So God no longer dwells in a building, but within each one of us that have accepted Him as our Savior & Lord. His Spirit is not in the building of the church but in the body of those within the church. Praise God that we no longer have to go to a specific place to meet with Him. He is working in hearts & minds all over the world.

Our Walk With God

Being a Christian has its ups & downs. It is full of failure, forgiveness, & new resolve. We may experience many growing pains in our walk with the Lord. But through Him, we do grow. We keep fighting. We keep getting back up. We learn to trust Him more. We experience more of Him & we worship Him more. This is the process of sanctification as we are being transformed into His image, from this glory to the eternal. The Christian journey is a struggle. But we know that it ends with victory in Him!
